The epidermis starts from the surface of the body and
continues into the body through the orifice. Inside the
body, it is no longer epidermis, but endodermis, or skin
that covers both the outside and the inside of a body. When the inside
and the outside of the skin are no longer distinguishable, we are unable
to establish the idea that life is contained and covered by epidermis.
Then, life is contained in a tube-shaped body like a tunnel that lies between
two holes.
