My existence is the very proof that my life is a continuum of preexistent life. In other words, "I hold the passage of time since the birth of this earth somewhere in my body." If I were to retrace the imperceptible memory, I should find that parts of my life have transmuted from numerous plants and animals, interacted with many lives, and lived a diverse life.In the future, another self will encounter a different self.

左から右─生命は途切れることなく続く

私の存在とは、私に至るまでの生命が、今までに途切れることのなかった証でもある。それは、「私の身体のどこかに、地球誕生からの歳月が在る」ということであり、感じえない記憶をたどるならば、私の生命の一部は、幾つもの植物や動物に姿を変えてきたはずであり、また、多くの者と交わり、様々な体験を経てきた。そして未来には、私から発せられた別の私が、今とは異なる私と出会うことになる。
